Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy follows a classical ballet curriculum modeled after the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia.

Our Mission
Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy was founded in 2017 by Alexei Tyukov and Maria Tyukova. We are proud to be regarded as Denver’s premier classical ballet training school. RMBA takes great pride in directing each of our students on an individual path towards excellence, with an emphasis on superior technique, artistry and stage presence. RMBA is committed to small class sizes for optimal personalized attention and instruction. Our classes are taught by renowned professionals who have had successful careers and significant teaching experience. We take pride in counseling our current and graduating RMBA students on steps to further their training and professional career – focusing on summer intensive programs, company auditions and apprenticeships and college enrollment.
